Prior to getting married, I had an extremely hard time picking MY two major dances - father/daughter and the first dance with my husband.
FIRST DANCE- My Story: I felt my first dance song must describe our relationship, I didn’t want to “settle” for anything less! I spent countless hours trying to find the perfect song. I had 4 songs set aside but I felt they just weren’t good enough. I stumbled on it by clicking on a site accidentally…. “All My Roads” by Collin Raye. This song gave me chills, and instantly brought tears to my eyes. Every word in this song, describes us perfectly!

FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE: My dad and I grew apart over the years, so picking the “perfect” song was challenging. I didn’t want anything sappy, but I still needed it to fit our relationship. I started thinking back to the time my dad and I were close….. When I was daddy’s little girl. I came across, I loved her first by Heartland. It was perfect! For 6 months I kept the song a secret, and on my wedding day, we danced… I whispered to my dad “Listen to the song, this is my song to you!” For the first time in my life, I saw tears in my father’s eyes.
